Tilly-Wood Street Design Showcase Event on Wednesday 19th June

What we've been up to

During March and April this year, we collected your comments on the initial designs for the area. The design for the project could strengthen the connection between Tillydrone and Woodside by:

· Reducing traffic volume and speed along Hayton Road and Don Street;

· Improving and widening pavements;

· Providing better crossings; and

· Enhancing public space through greenery and play.

Throughout this consultation period we engaged with over 1,200 people through events, meetings and our project website. 602 people visited the website and we received 425 completed feedback forms. This feedback, following the last nine months of engagement, has helped refine the design into a concept which will be showcased at our upcoming public event.
